Wayfarer Films, a production banner known for its exciting projects, has announced its new venture with great enthusiasm. The upcoming film with working title, Production No: 7 marks the beginning of a new chapter in the banner’s journey and promises to be an ambitious outing.
The project boasts an impressive cast, featuring Kalyani Priyadarshan and rising star Naslen in the lead roles. This will be their first collaboration on screen, making it an exciting prospect for fans of both actors. Interestingly, this is not the first time they have worked with Wayfarer Films; Kalyani has previously collaborated with the banner on her Malayalam film debut, “Varane Avashyamund.” Naslen, on the other hand, made a cameo appearance in the same film as the younger version of Dulquer Salmaan’s character.
The screenplay and direction for this new project will be handled by Arun Dominic, who has previously worked with Wayfarer Films. He is joined by screenwriter Santhy, an actor-turned-writer making her debut in the field. The technical team includes Nimish Ravi as director of photography, Jithu Sebastian as art director, and Yannick Ben, known for his work on “Jawan,” as stunt director.
Kalyani Priyadarshan is currently working on several projects, including “Genie” with Jayam Ravi and “Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira” with Fahadh Faasil. Meanwhile, Naslen has a couple of films in the works, namely “I Am Kathalan” and “Premalu 2,” both helmed by Girish AD.
