Punjabi actress Delbar Arya is set to make a significant mark on the Bollywood scene with her upcoming role in “Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues,” starring Shahid Kapoor. Sources close to the production reveal that Arya has been cast in a pivotal role and will soon begin filming.
While details about her character remain under wraps, insiders suggest it will be a departure from the roles Arya has portrayed previously, offering audiences a glimpse into her versatility as an actress.
“Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues” is directed by Kannada filmmaker Sachin B Ravi, known for his work on “Avane Srimannarayana.” The film promises to delve into the captivating myth of Ashwatthama, the immortal warrior from the Mahabharata, and explore his journey amidst modern-day conflicts.
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshika Deshmukh under their banner Pooja Entertainment, “Ashwatthama” is slated for a pan-India release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
