Samsung has officially launched its highly anticipated Galaxy Ring in India. The device was unveiled on Wednesday following early reservations that required an upfront payment of ₹1,999.

The Galaxy Ring is available in three finishes: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold. It comes in nine size options. The starting price for the Galaxy Ring is ₹38,999. Customers can purchase the device through Samsung.com, select retail outlets, Amazon, and Flipkart. A sizing kit is available to help customers choose the correct size before purchasing. No-cost EMI options are available, starting at ₹1,625 over 24 months. A complimentary 25W travel adapter will be included for purchases made before October 18th.

Features of the Galaxy Ring:

The Galaxy Ring is powered by Samsung Health and utilizes AI technology for health tracking. It includes a three-sensor system: an optical bio-signal sensor, a temperature sensor, and an accelerometer. The ring provides detailed health reports that include metrics such as Sleep Score, energy levels, and respiratory rates.

Design and Durability:

The base size five version of the Galaxy Ring weighs 2.3 grams and measures 7.0mm in width. The larger size 13 version weighs 3 grams. The device is made from titanium and has an IP68 rating, meaning it can withstand depths of up to 100 meters. The battery life is up to seven days on a single charge. Charging is done using a clamshell charging case with LED indicators. Users can interact with their connected Galaxy smartphone using gesture controls, such as double pinching.
