Fans of Karthi and Arvind Swamy’s highly anticipated film “Meiyazhagan” have even more to look forward to! Director C Premkumar has announced that the film’s runtime will be slightly shortened, ensuring an even more captivating cinematic experience.
While the original cut of “Meiyazhagan” was already impressive at 2 hours and 57 minutes, Premkumar, in a thoughtful move, has trimmed 18 minutes and 42 seconds to create a streamlined narrative flow. This strategic decision comes after careful consideration and aims to enhance the pacing and impact of the story without sacrificing any of its emotional depth or cinematic brilliance.
Premkumar expressed his gratitude to fans for their overwhelming support and enthusiasm for “Meiyazhagan,” acknowledging that some viewers had raised concerns about the initial runtime.
“Meiyazhagan” boasts a stellar cast including Rajkiran, Saran Shakthi, Swathi Konde, Devadarshini, and others. The film is produced by Suriya and Jyotika under their 2D Entertainment banner, with cinematography by Mahendran Jayaraju and editing by R Govindraj. The soundtrack, composed by Govind Vasantha, marks a reunion for the talented duo after their successful collaboration on the blockbuster “96.”
