Actress Nithya Menen has officially joined the cast of Dhanush’s upcoming directorial venture, ‘Idli Kadai,’ marking her second collaboration with the actor-turned-director. The news was confirmed on Sunday when Nithya took to Instagram, sharing a photo of herself and Dhanush enjoying tea together with the caption “New announcement! #idlikadai.”
This project marks a significant milestone for Dhanush, as it will be his fourth directorial effort following ‘Pa Paandi,’ ‘Raayan,’ and the yet-to-be-released ‘Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam.’ The film is being produced by Dawn Pictures, Red Giant Movies, and Wunderbar Films, with Aakash Baskaran and Dhanush serving as producers and Sreyas Srinivasan as executive producer.
‘Idli Kadai’ boasts a talented technical team, including cinematographer Kiran Koushik, editor Prasanna GK, and production designer Jacki. While further details about the cast are yet to be revealed, reports suggest that veteran actor Rajkiran may also be part of the project.
