The makers of Sivakarthikeyan’s highly anticipated film Amaran released the second single from the soundtrack on Thursday. Titled “Vennilavu Saaral,” the romantic melody composed by GV Prakash offers a poignant glimpse into the parenthood phase of the film’s protagonists.
The song, penned by Yugabharathi, features the soulful vocals of Kapil Kapilan and Rakshitha Suresh. It carries an undertone of melancholy, adding a layer of emotional depth to the narrative. “Vennilavu Saaral” follows the release of the first single, “Hey Minnale,” which showcased the blossoming romance between Major Mukund Varadharajan (played by Sivakarthikeyan) and Indu Rebecca Varghese (played by Sai Pallavi).
Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, is based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book India’s Most Fearless. The film tells the story of late army officer Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his exemplary bravery during a counterterrorism operation in Jammu and Kashmir.
The technical crew behind Amaran includes cinematographer CH Sai, editor Kalaivanan, and stunt director Stefan Richter. Produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Sony Pictures International Productions, Amaran is scheduled for release on October 31st.
