Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan continues to dominate the box office, showcasing a remarkable run in its first week. The action drama, directed by T. J. Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah’s Lyca Productions, has garnered immense popularity among audiences nationwide.
Over its first four days of release, Vettaiyan amassed an impressive ₹104.75 crore in India net, setting a strong foundation for its box office success. Building on this momentum, the film collected approximately ₹5.25 crore in India on its fifth day, according to early estimates from Sacnilk.
The film boasts a stellar cast, featuring Rajinikanth as Athiyan, a senior police officer who finds himself embroiled in a complex case involving an accidental shooting and a murder investigation. The ensemble also includes Amitabh Bachchan making his Tamil debut, alongside Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Abhirami, and Ramesh Thilak.
