Fans of Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi have a date circled on their calendars: October 4th. Music composer GV Prakash took to social media today to announce the release date for “Hey Minnale,” the first single from the highly anticipated film Amaran. The news was accompanied by a new photo of Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, further fueling anticipation for the project.
Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, tells the story of late army officer Major Mukund Varadarajan, based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book India’s Most Fearless. Sivakarthikeyan portrays Major Mukund, who was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his bravery during a counterterrorism operation. Sai Pallavi plays Indhu Rebecca Varghese, the wife of the late Major.
The film boasts an impressive technical crew, including cinematography by CH Sai, editing by Kalaivanan, and stunt direction by Stefan Richter. Amaran is being produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International in collaboration with Sony Pictures International Productions.
