The team behind Thalapathy 69 has officially welcomed actress Priyamani to its star-studded cast. The news was announced on social media platform X by KVN Productions, the production house backing the highly anticipated film. A poster featuring Priyamani alongside Vijay was shared, confirming her involvement in what is being touted as Vijay’s last film before entering politics.
This marks the first time Priyamani will be collaborating with Vijay on screen. Her addition to the cast further amplifies the excitement surrounding Thalapathy 69, which has already garnered significant attention for its impressive ensemble.
The film is shaping up to be a political thriller, with Vijay portraying the “torch-bearer of democracy,” as indicated in the first poster released by KVN Productions.
Joining Priyamani and Vijay are Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Maimitha Baiju, and Gautham Vasudev Menon. The film’s music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking their fifth collaboration with Vijay after successful projects like Kaththi, Master, Beast, and Leo.
Thalapathy 69 is produced by Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions, co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith NK, and is slated for release in October 2025.
