Actor Dulquer Salmaan recently opened up about the health challenges he faced during the filming of his upcoming drama thriller “Lucky Baskhar.” The film is set to release on October 31 in multiple languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. In a recent interview with TV9, Salmaan shared details about the delays caused by his health issues.
Dulquer explained that he initially planned to work on several projects this year but was forced to take a break from acting because of his health. “I had some health challenges that affected my ability to take on more projects,” he said. The actor expressed gratitude for the support and understanding shown by the film’s team, particularly director Venky Atluri.
During filming, Dulquer faced physical discomfort at times. He recalled instances where the crew would encourage him to take breaks if he experienced any pain. “If I insisted on continuing the shoot, they’d say that they don’t want to see me in pain,” he shared. This supportive environment made a significant difference during production.
Director Venky Atluri echoed Dulquer’s sentiments, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing his health over strict shooting schedules. “It was hard to see him in pain while working,” Atluri said. “We stretched our work hours to 12-15 hours on some days if that meant giving Dulquer more time to rest and recover.”
The film features Dulquer as Bhaskar, a bank officer, alongside Meenakshi Chaudhary and P Sai Kumar in key roles. The supportive atmosphere on set allowed the production to proceed smoothly despite delays.
