Telugu cinema fans were treated to a special surprise on Wednesday as the first look poster for the upcoming musical entertainer, “Santhana Prapthirasthu,” was unveiled. The poster not only marked the birthday of lead actress Chandini Chowdary but also introduced audiences to her character, Kalyani.
Chandini Chowdary, known for her captivating performances in films like “Gaami” and “Music Shop Murthy,” takes on a new role as Kalyani, an educated bride-to-be navigating the complexities of modern marriage. The poster hints at Kalyani’s strong personality and clear expectations for her future partner.
According to reports, Kalyani has a specific set of criteria for her ideal match, including a government job and vegetarianism. Interestingly, she also appears to have an aversion to software professionals. Adding another layer to the story, “Santhana Prapthirasthu” is said to explore the sensitive theme of childlessness within the context of marriage.
Joining Chandini Chowdary in this intriguing project is actor Vikranth, who plays the male lead. The film is a collaborative effort between producers Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy under their banners Mathura Entertainment and Nirvi Arts. Sanjeev Reddy, known for his work on “ABCD” starring Allu Sirish and the web series “Aha Naa Pellanta” with Raj Tarun, directs the film while also co-writing the story and screenplay alongside Sheikh Dawood.
The supporting cast boasts a talented ensemble including Vennela Kishore, Abhinav Gomatam, Muralidhar Goud, Sri Lakshmi, Harsha Vardhan, Bindu Chandramouli, Jeevan Kumar, Satya Krishna, Thagubothu Ramesh, and Kireeti. Music for the film is composed by Sunil Kashyap, with Mahi Reddy Pandugula handling cinematography and SaiKrishna Ganala taking charge of editing.
