Mallika Sherawat is making a much-anticipated comeback to the silver screen with her role in the upcoming comedy “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.” The actress, known for her bold and glamorous roles in films like “Murder” and “Hisss,” has been relatively absent from the spotlight in recent years.
Director Raaj Shaandilyaa revealed that initially, Sherawat thought she was being offered a dance number in the film. However, when he explained that the role was specifically written for her, she was intrigued and immediately agreed to join the project.
“Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video” is set in 1997 and revolves around a newlywed couple, Vicky and Vidya, whose wedding night video CD goes missing, leading to a series of hilarious complications. The film stars Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles, with Mallika Sherawat playing a pivotal role alongside Vijay Raaz.
